Dedicated ward officers conduct regular targeted patrols in uniform and mixture of proactive plain clothes operations. Engaging with retail outlets to improve reporting rates and take collective measures to combat issue. We are in the process of engaging with local businesses to increase the awareness of the Op Retail response to shoplifting in the area and to encourage greater collaboration.

Dedicated Ward Officers (DWOs) and PCSOs will work with internal departments and external partners to target offenders. We will be conducting enhanced patrols in areas where burglaries occur or are likely to occur to prevent further offences. We will also conduct door to door enquiries and offer crime prevention advice.
